Hey can anybody tell me if there is a setting that you can set that will force an image to be displayed at full (Original) size when viewed? Or at least default to Original size when first viewed?

Nope. There is none. It is up to the user/viewer to decide that. If I am not mistaken, if a viewer changes to say Large, all the next images will be served large and so on.
