PBase is a slug, has been for weeks, when is someone going to speed this useless out of date site up???

25 seconds from click to gallery opening just isn't good enough

Less than 4 seconds to open gallery that I have never visited. Maybe your connection.

No I have a 45 meg fibre connection, it's PBAse that's so hopeless

Yesterday it was definitely sluggish (I have 50 Mb FiOS here) but a few days before it was doing fine. Today it seems better. It appears to vary in random fashion and I think I don't want to even guess what the system architecture looks like!

Yes, slow lately, especially yesterday. Faster today.

My daily visitors are about 20% of what they were a year ago!

Thirty three subscribers posted in the last hour!

About two thirds of my favorites no longer post!

No posts in the PaD Forum since January 31!

Very sad. But I really don't care for some of the other sites. I use this site just to store my photos. I use to love the social media here but now I think FB and the likes are attracting more people.
Maybe people don't have the time to comment on PAD cause they are more interested in other social media. I still enjoy looking at other's photos but find I don't make comments very often. I do look at the images added in the various forum topics.

Yes but it's very hard to browse anything if you are waiting 10-20 seconds after each click!

Is there any chance at all that someone from Pbase could be bothered to comment?

Very, very slow this evening.

This is just horrible, pbase needs to get on top of this!

Its certainly slow again, please, please fix. I only renewed last month, its a great site but.........

We never seem to get a reply from PBase as to what and when the issues will be fixed, gives a feeling that they only pop in to see it once a month and leave it to obsolete robots to run it at other times.....

At least have a notice board to keep us up to date.

I noticed a drastic slowdown lately too. It's definitely PBase; everything else loads fast except this site.

Can anyone recommend a decent alternative? I don't want a free site with ads, just a place to post, share and store hi-res photos.
