CANNOT UPLOAD

Does anyone monitor this site anymore? I have been a paying customer for years and the last few weeks it has been impossible for me to upload. I have tried everything and I keep getting the Error 503 message. I have to upload the same picture 10 times before it takes. What is going on????

Dunno -- I just uploaded three shots this afternoon, no hitches, worked first try. And I've done two other uploads in the past week or so without problems. Maybe there's a network problem in your area or something?

What browser and version are you using? If you are using IE 10 or 11 then you might need to added pbase.com to the Compatibility View Settings.

Just minutes ago I uploaded two shots no problem. Running Firefox 35.0.1 on Win7x64.

Purportedly a 503 is a "service unavailable" but can be a temporary condition -- too many clients, maintenance, or whatever. The articles I see say it generally points to the target website, rather than the user's client browser, but there are a few user end conditions that could create problems. (Google 503 error to get a bewildering array of info.)

No problems uploading here. Firefox 35.0.1 on OS X 10.9.4. Also works on Chorme 40.0.2214.94 (64-bit) and Safari 7.0.5.

Suggest you contact customer support. Good Luck!

No problems here as well. Replaced some images, uploaded some new images, everything has been working with no issues over the past 3-4 days.

Apparently, PBase has a compatibility problem with Chrome v 40.0.2214.111 m because I got the same error in Chrome but was able to upload with FireFox 35.

At least in theory, an email to support@pbase.com is a more certain route to attention. These forums don't get much attention from the management, they are mostly users trying to help each other.

I have to click 4-5-10 times on edit your galleries to post anything. Wrote PBase two weeks ago, but they never answer anything you send them.

I don't think antyhing sent to support@ PBase gets read, answered or acted upon. Never has in my decade plus here.

Good idea to write to Emily directly.

I have been uploading every since this thread started February 11 with no problems at all.

This I know is not going to solve the problem but since Feb. 11 I have built 8 new galleries, more than 500 images total without a hitch. If one looks at all the new and updated galleries that appear daily, they are coming in from all over the world. Clearly things are unfolding as they should for most of the membership. So, I can't think what the issue is except a look closer to home might be in order. Different browsers, different service providers and different machines maybe. Best of luck to all.
