Missing comments

My profile pages shows last comment dated 6/25/2014, but the last comment shown on the comments management page is 4/24/2014. This has now happened twice...last month I noticed the profile pages showing last comment as 5/27/2014, but the comment management page shows 4/24/2014.

I just tried posting a test comment using inprivate browsing. That one showed up, but the others are still not showing up.

Hmmm -- wonder if it has anything to do with http://form.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=47669 or http://form.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=47707 ?? There has been a flurry of spam comments which were ultimately deleted by PBase, but I notice my comments show most recent as of today when the last legitimate one was several days ago, as though the deletion of comments did not roll back the last comment date.. Although this recent spam outburst might not account for the earlier time.

I do believe you have nailed it! I just checked and now my totals and dates are correct... So that also supports the theory that there is still someone working at Pbase.com!

Ah yes -- sometime between when I wrote the above and now, my last comment date has corrected. The elves must have still been tinkering.
