All my PBase images are protected by disabeling the right click function.
Anyhow, I found 54 of my USA travel pictures on this Russian site:

http://basik.ru/photo_nature/usa_photos/

I've never given them any permission!
What can I do?

Not much, its best that you protect your fotos with a copyright text on the actual image. You can write the "admin" of the site and file a complaint and prove using a link back to your PBase site that the fotos belong to you. Good Luck

Hi Pieter,

Don't think you can do much. I would suggest watermarking your images, that may deter them from displaying the images.
Also there is a function on Lightroom where you can put your copyright info. in the exif of your images: http://www.tipsquirrel.com/adding-copyright-data-in-lightroom/
This way you can at least prove they are your images. Good Luck!

If you post on the Internet your pictures can and likely will be stolen. Full poof copyright logo layer over the photo is a poor option.
But for me that takes away from what I want to share, I expect theft, a internal exif copyright and noninvasive external layer copyright notice on the picture is best.
You can as mentioned to the host of the theft pictures and the problem it works many times in my experience.
Finding then can be interesting when the company is a architectural firm doing work for a local non-profit. All kinds of people steal our work.
I check around for a thief if I am bored and often find one deal with it and see what happens. Good luck.

All that copyright info in your EXIF data can easily be removed, simply cut and paste the image onto a new layer. A watermark on small images is your best defense, though also not foolproof.
There's absolutely nothing you can do about stolen images, and it's not worth the time or money to attempt a resolution or compensation. I don't even look anymore.
