Banner graphics no longer showing

Suddenly the banner graphics in my galleries no longer show, with a text block saying 'direct linking denied' instead. This is an example...

Nor can I get into my account settings to see if something has changed that might cause my banner linking to break, but get this text message instead, 'Service Temporarily Unavailable'.

What's happening?
