BANNER TEXT

Looking for some technical help with banner titles for my galleries. Thanks to other PBASE Members I have already found how to do the banners and put in text
However when I put in text, it seems to drop right down to the top of the banner image and what I would like is a bit of breathing space between the text and the banner image. I have tried to do this by leaving space after the text but I am obviously not doing it correctly.
Also how does one go about putting text below the banner image.
