PMails showing -8 unread?

I've read all my PMail. Every last one. I even discarded two drafts that were still here after two years. But my PMail shows -8 unread. First of all, how can I have minus 8 unread? And second of all, how do I get this fixed?

Well, for some unknown reason, it's fixed today.
