Anyone else seeing broken images and feeling a slow response ?

The problem's been back since last night: many thumbnails and images broken/not loading.

Anyone else experiencing the same or is it just with us?

I've written to Emily about this. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Everything seemed to be back to normal most of today, must a few minutes ago the problem started again...

I'm just starting to wonder: there's only 3 of us reporting the problem, and we all work from the Netherlands.
Could this be a regional problem?

Here in Pennsylvania USA I've not noticed any broken images. A few days back I would occasionally get some sort of server error when attempting to view a different gallery. If I went back and tried again it generally worked. Some earlier comments in one of these recent threads suggested there was in fact a server problem then.

There has been a fair amount of extreme weather in some areas, never know when that might mess up some networks.

Internet is working well in the Netherlands, but a lot of the Pbase thumbnails and images are broken....

I don't think I have yet experienced any broken image problem since I have been coming to PBase. (Granted I have not been around that long either.)

The reason I think it has something to do with the "ic2" server is that is where all of my broken links are pointing to (at least the ones I've tested). Seems Walter & I have sent a note to Pbase (Emily et al.) - if others could send a note to support listing specific images whose links are broken (one should be enough), that will help with the troubleshooting on their end. If you can get to the page source code, the full link to your image will be listed and that might help as well, otherwise, just send the broken link that shows in the browser window...
