I noticed a side and bottom of the page banner, with ads on my site the past few days. Is this normal? Did I do something to cause it? :?:

I visited several of your galleries, visited several photos and your profile page, and saw no banners. I've never seen an on my pages nor anyone else's here. Could you provide a link what a banner, so we can see it?

I checked that photo, a few of your other photos, and do not see a banner or other type of advertisement. The browser or plugins/extensions for the browser that you're using might be infected with malware. Do you have a different browser that you can try?

Thanks for the help. I'll try another browser and see if that helps. I recently downloaded Google Chrome, so maybe that is were the trouble began and has now moved to Safari.

2 members on a different forum had problems with malware causing unwanted ads a few days ago. One had unwanted popups and found a nasty on his PC (Malwarebytes found it), the other had 2 Safari extensions that caused adword problems (double underlined words with popups. Although your symptoms are different, it's probably some type of malware. Malwarebytes is a good scanner for Windows-based PCs. Good luck.
