I normally size mine prior to uploading them, generally to a max of 800 pixels horizontal or 640 vertical. I use Photoshop Elements, but many/most photo editing programs can do resizing; that's a pretty basic editing function. Reducing the size prior to upload can greatly reduce the file size and save upload time, in addition to reducing the storage space required on PBase.

I can't bother with resizing all my prints thought my Light-room or PS. So I load my files in Raw, which can be up to 30 mg. Then I just delete original size near the bottom of editing info. Re-size is usually around 800 pixal.
