I get a message saying the connection was reset. I have been trying to get there since last night. Anyone know what's up with that?

Hi - same here, except I only get a blank page each time. I popped in here to see if there were any service messages about it, but there don't seem to be?

Yes, same here -- it appears that there are server problems, but no word from admin. I keep getting knocked off. I love pbase, but wish they could get their tech act together, and from perusing this forum, I realize I'm not alone.

Wäh, I can't see my stats since yesterday. I miss them.

Here's the error message:

"Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again."

The good news is I have no problems with slowness.

I get this when I try:

Page not found - connection failure

At least it's some consolation that the total hit calculation still seems to be functioning on the Profile page.

I don't know about that. I took a negative hit count this morning. It is about 1000 hits lower than it was last night. Maybe they are working on it.

It's amazing how we've come to rely on the "Stats" feature of pbase.

Everything is not fine now. Yes, stats are working again. If you call seeing them without the thumbnails for the photos and galleries fine. There are no thumbs in any of my galleries and the tilte bar is missing from the pages. I had to do a mouse over blank space to even find the forum. And the forum itself is missing the normal buttons for "quote", etc.

To me, after six years, this is the usual Pbase approach. There is a problem. Usually one a week. They "discover" it, announced it's fixed and then the fix is worse than the original problem.

I could be very wrong about this. Since they don't communicate there is really no way to tell.
