How long for space to be reclaimed after deleting photos ?

I'm getting near my 100MB limit. I've decided to delete one of my oldest galleries which contains a lot of photos. However, even 20 minutes after deleting a ton of images my used space still shows 98MB. Is there some time period before deleted files space is decremented from my statistics ?

It does take a bit of time. Not weeks or months....your space should be back later today or tomorrow. It's usually not that long of a delay from what I have seen. Hope that helps.

Thanks ! I was hoping that was the answer. I won't be uploading new galleries until this weekend so I'm glad I found out NOW that I don't want to wait till the last minute to do housekeeping.
