Storage space

I replaced some large images (average 1mb) with smaller ones (around 150kb each), but when I checked my profile, the storage space used is remain the same before and after replacing the images. My question is, how often my profile is updated or am I missing some steps?

It does take some time for the numbers on the profile page to update. You will probably see a change by the end of the day. If not, send me an email.
