question on editing name of gallery

I have been trying to edit the name of gallery; however, it won't allow me to update everytime. For example: I want to put :My Brother's Wedding 9/19/2003 to be the gallery name. The system only shows: my_brothers_wedding9192003. Could anyone help me? I'm new here. Thanks in advance!!

the field labelled 'gallery name' cannot have any / in or spaces because it is used in the url, however if you want to change the 'title' you can, this will be displayed above your thumbnails...

There is a name and a title. In the title you can write what you want the name is used for the gallery address so it is limited: no spaces, number ans selection of characters. Use the title and description for the full detail.
