Update gallery failure (text)

I have tried to update one of my galleries and keep getting a failure message. I have tried to place a lengthy discription of the gallery, about 2,200 charactors with spacing, about 31 lines or so.

Is there a limit to the amount of text, or is there a problem with Pbase currently?

Yes, there is a limit and if I remember correctly, it is less than 2,200 charactars. Try to use lesser amount and text and see if you can update it. I don't think there is any problem with the system other than the inbuilt limitation.

It would be nice to have posted what the limit is.

Do you know what the limit is? Otherwise I'll edit, then have to reedit to get it down to what the "unknown" limit is.

In a bit of a rush. There was another thread in the forums which mentioned the limit. I think it is 1024 characters. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
