Solution to EXIF Misinformation?

Is there any? I get misreadings in information in the EXIF readings from several different cameras, e.g. an Exposure bias setting that didn't exist, focus distance readouts, ISO levels that don't show.

I too have noticed that some programs display EXIF data differently. I use Adobe Photoshop Album as my pic manager on my PC. It does not show ISO info in it's EXIF data. The software that came with my Canon A80 has much better EXIF data, giving every setting I had my camera at for each pic using my camera's "terminology". This is most likely due to it being specialized software for my camera.
