www address with an extra "/" at the end?

I created a gallery at http://www.pbase.com/vpang as my basic level "all galleries" page. However, the old one that i had before, still exists at http://www.pbase.com/vpang/ (i.e. with a slash at the end). The same thing happen to my other galleries e.g. http://www.pbase.com/vpang/family versus http://www.pbase.com/vpang/family/ (again, with an extra slash"/" at the end, the whole gallery will be changed).

Is this normal?

Without going into the details, the "/" should not make a difference at all! And as far as my side is concerned the two sets of galleries you mentioned seems same. Maybe cache at your browser was playing with you What difference do you see - say with the first gallery?
