It means you have 200Meg, but for twice as long.

since you paid for what was previously 200MB, you got 24 credits.
these would have been good for 24 months if you were using 100MB or 12 months at 200MB.

since the upgrade, you still have the 24 credits, but now you'd have 400MB of space for 1 year, or 200MB for 2 years.

this change didn't change the number of credits anybody has, they just give you twice as much space to work with.

one way of looking at the change is that credits are now good for 200MB for one month instead of the previous 100MB.
so if you paid $23, you got 12 credits. you still have the same credits, they just go farther now.
if you were using 100MB and had 10months left, you could use 200MB now and still have 10months left.

Great news slug but my credits remain the same :? why is it? Thanks

I understand now, I paid for 24 credits I thought I would have 48 credits but now I understand is 24 credits with double space. Thanks it's great.

Bad news

That’s what makes it confusing. The amount of credits makes sense for the time left, but not for the space one has. I upgraded to 200mb about two weeks before this happened, and no where does anything say I have 400mb of space, just 29 credits (I still had 5 months left on my 100mb account). I think if that was mentioned in the account info, most of the questions in this thread would not need to be asked. If it’s in the account info, it’s buried too deep to be able to readily find it.

I agree with everyone else. This is wonderful news. More and more these days, prices go up for reduced services. This is a very unusual move that will no doubt bring slug more business. Thanks slug. :)

Right on!
