Hi! I'm 18 and recently photographed a bat mitzvah party for a family. I was there for 4 hours and now I have been working on editing the photos. The dilema is that I don't know what to charge. The family requested I put the photos on a photobucket account for them, which I did, here is the link to it http://s190.photobucket.com/albums/z17/ ... a%20Cohen/ what do you think I should charge for these photos?

Thanks!

I see that no one has replied to this post. Well, you're young and inexperienced and "How much to charge" is a common question for many photographers.

Q: How much should I charge?
A: As much as you can get.

Here are some questions for you.
Q: What was your agreement with the family before you took the pictures? Did they agree to you taking them with the understanding that they would pay for them?
Q: How much should they pay for what? Do you plan to sell them prints? For the four hours you spent taking them? For the post-processing?
Q: What is your hourly rate as a photographer? What is your hourly rate for doing post-processing work?
Q: How much should the hourly rate be for someone who has little experience?

Back to the original question. How much to charge. Get as much as you can get.
