Check out the sensor brush at
http://www.copperhillimages.com/ - I use it almost daily. You can do the same thing with a good quality nylon artists brush, but I would buy something the correct size to fit in the camera. Basically you need to electrostatically charge the brush but rubbing it on a piece of velum or the like. You'll see the bristles fray when they are charged. You can then use the brush in the camera to pick up any particles. Just remember to keep the brush clean and sealed so you don't use it to introduce dust. Check the menu options on the D80 for the mirror lock up option to get to all the parts that need cleaning.
Arcticbuttefly do a similar thing by spinning the brush to charge it, but it is VERY expensive.
