I've only got a week to find about half my categories, but this is what I've done so far. I have a few 'fallback' photos for some of them. Watch this space :)

I'm trying to do it - but then I made a start on the last two and didn't get too far.... I'm not going to finish by the end of July anyway.

I've been trying to do this, using all new shots - with mixed success. I have posted some, have ideas for several others and am completely lost on a couple. Looks like the end of July is going to be tight!

You can see the latest state of play (with 'state' being the operative word  ) at http://www.pbase.com/jachurch/26thingsjul04

Mine's now done too.

http://www.pbase.com/clickaway/26things_july2004

I've found it difficult to get good shots on all of mine AND be original.

I struggled on Popular somewhat - I ended up with an archive shot, but it would have been better had I made the shot at night!

Tomorrow, 1st August, Australian time, you should be able to go to the 26Things site and state where your 26 Things gallery is. Many people who do this have their own web sites or use other web hosting database sites, so you may get some comments from some new names.

I found 26 Things a lot more challenging than PAD and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the submissions are wonderful and perhaps it's something we should consider here.... ?

Mine are at

jean,

Very few of us have probably had a go at the original 26 Things. Perhaps we could do that later in the year.

Or we could make up our own list. Perhaps we could all nominate one or two categories each.
