May Challenge

Thanks to Laine for resurrecting the monthly challenge in April. To keep the ball rolling I invite you all to join once again in May. Ideally shoot new images but it's ok to dip into your archives if you have to - sometimes life gets in the way of photography or maybe there's an excellent photo sitting there, waiting for the light of day! Likewise try to view and comment on other's photographs, but again, no pressure if you haven't time.
Here's my list for a challenge using different skills, techniques, styles of photography -hope everyone finds it interesting. Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.
1 Black and White
2 Shallow depth of field
3 Shoot from a low point of view
4 Leading lines
5 Portrait (pets are ok if you don't have an available sitter!)
6 Landscape (park if you live in a city)
7 Streetscape
8 Nature
9 Wildlife (bug, animal, bird, fish - not in a zoo)
10 Macro
11 Abstract
12 Food (styled)
13 Patterns
14 Long exposure
15 Action shot - Fast shutter speed
16 Sunrise/sunset
17 Street photography
18 Still life - artistic
19 Still life - as in product shot
20 Sepia toned
21 Self-portrait
22 Reportage or a photo which tells a story
23 Sports (adults, children, fun, professional)
24 Flowers
25 The moon
26 Water
27 An unusual perspective
28 Wide angle
29 Panning
30 Architecture
31 Wild card - your favourite type of photography
32 Primary colours
33 Contrasting colours
34 A group portrait
35 A festival or carnival
36 An exhibition, indoors or outdoors

I have mentioned I live amid tall trees and hills therefore pretty sunrises are well and truly past and the sun is high by the time it comes over the house especially in this last month of Autumn, therefore last week from the living room window in my sister-in-laws house I grabbed the camera to capture this pretty sky above the neighbours roof....therefore my first effort this month is a week or so old

Sunrise

My 1st entry "Still Life - as in a product shot". We will be absent for part of May and I hadn't intended joining, but the options sound really great and will definitely pose a challenge for me!

Sorry I missed out on the last half of April's Challenge. Thank you to all of you who sent condolences. My Mom was quite a character and much loved by many. I was blessed.
Here is my first picture for May. We have a lot of Anoles and Geckos in our yard. So... wildlife. :)

# 3 Shallow Depth of Field

This little lady was in her web in the middle of a spiky plant in the garden, I couldn't get any closer but I rather liked the end result
