Sorry I´m a bit behind with comments,
but my condition isn´t so well at the moment,
so I will catch up as soon as possible when I feel better.

As a tribut to Maire, here are some Irish 'cinderellas' of mine:

Number 15: Molly Malone

Number 16: Jeanie Johnston

Number 17: Into the mystic

Cheers
Werner

# 15 - "I'd Rather Die Young" - one of the first songs by Johnny Cash I have heard, many years ago. Still like it.

Day 17

I want you to know
one thing.
You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

so far I've included two Hollies songs and a Joni Mitchell one.

So today, here's a song written by former Hollies man Graham Nash about the time he was living with Joni.

My contribution today is an old 16th century nursery rhyme that seemed to fit the picture
