Weekly Informal Challenge number 209 is "Night Lights":

Challenge yourself this week with some Night Photography. Look for strong contrasting images often provided by the natural negative space at night. Let the slower shutter speeds work to your advantage. Night photography can offer beautiful light trails, creative motion blur and lens aberrations for your creative use. Please keep it FRESH. For you participating in the "40 Things in April" challenge, this provides a nice bridge to work on both at the same time. Remember (most of all) HAVE FUN.

One Street Light, but lots of pretty colours

After living in the city of Rochester for 38 years, my wife and I moved to the edge of suburbia in February. The result is far fewer lights. This was shot out my back porch:
