Weekly Challenge: "Something to be thankful for"

Thanksgiving Holiday has just passed, but when we think about it we have so much to be thankful for. Not only our families, our friends, our pets, our homes, our communities, but so much more. Often it is moments and passing glimpses that make us happy to be alive, whether it is a tree with autumn leaves, an encounter in the street, a bird flying by or a colorful sunrise or sunset, or even just clouds passing overhead or patterns in the ocean or a a river. Show us something you are thankful for this week. Be as creative as you can! Try to surprise us!

A few simple rules:

1. Themes are posted on Fridays to give you the weekend to come up with a FRESH shot for the challenge to post through Monday.

2. This is about interaction, learning, being challenged and having fun so... HAVE FUN!

3. The themes are specific but interpretations are broad. Stay on theme but PLEASE feel free to think outside the box.

4. Look at others' submissions, comment as moved to do so and offer supportive and constructive feedback. Please don't just post for exposure. Look and at least comment on some.

After the beautiful display of fall colors in my area it is rather depressing the beginning of the dull winter... the only good thing about the leaves
