Weekly Challenge: "Atmosphere"


The Theme for this week is Atmosphere. By this we mean, mood, ambiance or the feeling the viewer gets when looking at an image. Lighting, shadows, colors, subject, processing, creativity, etc. can all play a role. See if you can move us with your submission.



A few simple rules:

1. Themes are posted on Fridays to give you the weekend to come up with a FRESH shot for the challenge to post through Monday.

2. This is about interaction, learning, being challenged and having fun so... HAVE FUN!

3. The themes are specific but interpretations are broad. Stay on theme but PLEASE feel free to think outside the box.

4. Look at others' submissions, comment as moved to do so and offer supportive and constructive feedback. Please don't just post for exposure. Look and at least comment on some.

5. Did we already mention: HAVE FUN!!!

How happy was I to see this theme when I checked in?!? The atmosphere was mesmerizing on my drive home from work late yesterday. I couldn't resist a little motion painting...

Hi Pbase friends. I’m going to be taking a bit of a break due to recent and future cataract surgery. My left eye was done on Tuesday and the right one will be done in another 2-3 weeks. At the moment, computer work is incredibly difficult. I apologize for not making comments on everyone’s image in the last weekly challenge of “Unseen.” Also, thanks for all the kind words you left on my photo.
My surgeon assures me I’m going to love the results when all is done and healed … I am not going to need glasses anymore!
