I spent some time yesterday in the border town of Calexico California. I was quite out of place walking the streets with my camera gear an most people simply averted their eyes as I approached. From across the street I noticed this man hopelessly sweeping a filthy sidewalk to make his storefront entrance more appealing to those who might have a few dollars to spend. I admire his optimism.
My contribution... I have been shooting a portrait of a 90 year old lady, but in the end, she was not keen to be seen on the IT so you get something else...
