NOVEMBER CHALLENGE - LIGHT/LINES/SHADOWS

Post Thu Nov 01, 2012 1:24 am

We're going with Boris' idea this month. Show us your fresh images....no dipping into the archives...of light/lines/shadows. Be creative, use your imagination and don't be afraid to think outside the box!

Thanks, Boris for the idea and look forward to a new month with this topic. Okay, everybody, let's see your stuff! :P

Back home after an extra-ordinary trip through Australia, with a lot of mystic experiences...
Here is my first contribution for this month challenge

Mieke
A (wo)man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his/her life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful. (free to J.W. von Goethe)

Thank you Cindi for the kick off! :D

My #1

Entrance sign, seen yesterday in Mainz, the capital of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. The city with a population of 200.000, is famous as the home of the invention of the movable-type printing press, as the first books printed using movable type were manufactured in Mainz by Gutenberg in the early 1450s. Until the twentieth century, Mainz was usually referred to in English as Mayence.

...a Hommage to Gutenberg! :D

This wall at the local library always grabs my attention - I'm sure you will see it again before this month is out. :) :D

I'm happy to join back in this month. Thank you to those who viewed my pad images last month
even though I didn't follow the haiku theme. I took this one this morning, lots of light, lines and
shadows right in my front driveway!

Don't kow if the challenge is about "light" and "lines" and "shadows" all together.
My first entry is just about light ;-)
