Thank you Lynn :)
I am going to pass on the Haiku theme because it will take me too much time to either start writing them, or try to pick one and then go find something to shoot for it. I will follow along and I will post a photo everyday on my pad gallery, so if you want to follow me please do!
Today is my oldest daughter's birthday. I took a photo of a rose, knowing there would be many Haiku's for roses and that's when I discovered it was just going to take too much time to do this every day. Have a wonderful Haiku month!

I made a Haiku for Laryl's rose above -

Single dewy rose
Void of color
Yet it sends
her a Birthday Wish

I think this is a great challenge (although I am biased as I have been a fan of haiku for more decades than I care to admit!). Here is my first entry, using a haiku by one of the classic Japanese haiku masters, Buson: http://www.pbase.com/image/146413286

Thank you Lynn for this interesting challenge, I'll try to keep up with it, but I have to say I haven't got the remotest idea about Haiku, so this will be a real challenge!!!!!!
I hope this is OK:
