Weekly Informal Challenge number 113 is "Shot Through..."

The idea is to shot through something to impact your photographic subject. Sandwich the subject between a blurred foreground and background, find some object to shoot you subject through, use something translucent to shoot through or anything else that gets you a "shot through" perspective. Be creative and experiment.

A few examples:

I had to stand in poison ivy to shoot this. It is shot through the frame work of the ferris wheel. The only way to do that was to stand knee deep in beware of leaves that grow in three and are shiny and oily. I'll know in a few hours. :)

A bit of a different take here. My image was shot through the metal mesh of a Zoo Enclosure. Under the right lighting conditions (overcast) one can make the mesh disappear almost completely, provided the subject is far enough away from the mesh, the photographer as close to the mesh as possible (in this case about four feet) and one has the correct camera settings (you can see them from the exif data). :)

A fun challenge, I did several 'shoot troughs' before this one just happened right in front of me:

I've been having some challenges in getting my comments done the past couple of weeks, but have managed to get them up before posting the following weeks image. Having some difficulties with bad hips and getting the pain medication adjusted properly. Thank you for your patience and for your comments on my postings.

Hope you have a great week!
