WEEKLY INFORMAL CHALLENGE WEEK 100: "One and Done"

Post Fri Mar 09, 2012 4:05 pm

Weekly Challenge: "One and Done"

Digital Photography has made us complacent. We snap away with abandon and then use our Digital Lightrooms to process, alter, enhance etc.

The Challenge for this week is to pick the subject of your choice and to take one photo only and to post it without any processing whatsoever.

No cheating. :D

Thanks to Stephanie for suggesting this Challenge.

A few simple rules:

1. Themes are posted on Fridays to give you the weekend to come up with a FRESH shot for the challenge to post through Monday.

2. This is about interaction, learning, being challenged and having fun so... HAVE FUN!

3. The themes are specific but interpretations are broad. Stay on theme but PLEASE feel free to think outside the box.

4. Look at others' submissions, comment as moved to do so and offer supportive and constructive feedback. Please don't just post for exposure. Look and at least comment on some.

5. Did we already mention: HAVE FUN!!!

Took this photo a couple of days before the challenge and I was debating on whether or not to PP it. Glad I didn't.
This was a good challenge. It's easy to get caught up in the idea of "post-Processing"...
(Although, It could use some PP...)

My contribution, took it today, uncut and no processing, which most of my pictures are

I was out at Auckland's Viaduct last evening to see how the preparations for the Volvo Round the World yacht race were coming along.
This is the view of Auckland City from part of the Viaduct.

The first boat is due tonight, and the last 5 should all arrive before tomorrow night
