I continue to bravely stick my toe into this challenge with the modest assertion that I’m reflecting on old images that I can improve with the hindsight of time.
I extracted this image from a mélange of crappy photos I took in Old Town San Diego eight years ago shortly after I bought my then exciting Canon 10D. I’m amazed that I could kill so many pixels with wanton abandon back in those days without producing much that is even half-decent. The infamous Gary Winters was with me that day, and we now both agree that much of what we shot will never see the light of day.
This is one, however, that survived that cut and has some promise.
