Another one from yesterday's trip to Liverpool, this one is for the word 'Waves'.
It shows part of the waterfront on the Mersey, looking back from the ferry, and includes both of the Liverpool cathedrals. The RC one is the ultra-modern, pointy one on the left and the Anglican is the traditional one on the right.
The Ferris wheel in the centre is a temporary structure outside the Albert Dock complex which is a superb tourist attraction in its own right.

Friday was a non-post day, the island was hit by a huge sorm and sufferred power outages along with lots of storm damage. Today's post was taken during the tail end of the storm:
