Achromatic (B&W) August

Ed Goodnight and I decided it was about time for another month of achromatic experimentation and personal challenge.

Rules:

1. Only B&W. No duotone or partial saturation.

2. Try your best to look for and shoot new images for each day.

3. Post your daily entries here in this forum discusion.

4. Try your best to look at other's entries. Comment if possible.

Remember this is for fun. It is an opportunity to experiment in B&W, challenge, be challenged, share, learn, improve our skills and meet other people from all over the world!

I think I will have a go at it too. I have not done a monthly challenge in a long while and I have not done much B&W lately even though I really like it.

Are we talking true B&W only (as in black, white and gray) or will sepia toning be cool?

As far as sepia toning goes...

I will leave it up to the individual. Sepia really immitates old B&W. I probably won't go that route but I don't have a problem with it.

But, but... it's summer... and summer's colourful! Hmmm... you know what, I'll have a go too! (But it'll have to be a colourful gallery for the Pbase hot air balloon meet up!)
Maybe I'll just do a colourful PAD when I can AND a B&W daily challenge shot too! That'll be easy!!

shooting just b/w *would* be a challenge for me. One I'm afraid I do need. So many decisions.. guess I could do a gallery of shirts all in b/w LOL would that be too boring?
I have to get through the Thursday thing first so I can think! But I'm very interested in your b/w august too!
