Shirts

Take pictures of all different shirts. Different types, different styles, different colors. Let's see how creative we can get with these!

My brain is mush after the macro mysteries.. I was 'hoping' the suggestion for August was something I couldn't possibly do, so I could gracefully 'pass' LOL Shirts.. dang I have those around here. 31 of them? well that's questionable but guess I do get out now and then huh.

Not very inspring for us Brits .... most shirts are shades of white!

I'm going to pass too. Although if I got the county shirt of all the Irish GAA clubs I'd have enough for 32 days.....

I don't usually take part in the monthly challenges, but I think 'Shirts' is too prescriptive.
One entitled 'Clothing' would give more variety yet still be challenging.

I'm surprised at the replies so far. Everyone wears shirts and I'm sure we see a ton of them everyday don't we? How about doll shirts, dog shirts, shirts in the store and in the store window, tee-shirts, kids/babies shirts, a stack of shirts, shirts in the laundry, people wearing the same shirts (uniform), shirts on the clothesline, .. Personally I'm not into clothes at all but the possibilities for shirts seems endless to me!

I think we are all brain tired from figuring out all the macros hehee

Following on Laryl's expansion of the theme I presume we could take variations on the theme: blouses, vests, tank-tops,overshirts,undershirts etc. etc... shirt-washing,shirt-ironing,shirts with ties,shirts without ties,getting shirty (=cross) with someone, stripey shirts, patterned shirts, lacy(!) racy shirts,football shirts (thank you Mairéad!),polo shirts and so on. The only problem for me is that I'll be away for part of August and will have to work out how I'll access images of so many shirts.

Exactly.. a shirt is a shirt and that could be so many different kinds, and compositions. Yes! undershirts, nightshirts, all kinds.

I'm not sure I'm going to do it but it's sure do-able if you have a camera each day. A collar, button or pocket of a shirt might be a macro but it's still a shirt photo.. how about upside down shirts at the park! or sports shirts.. I bet someone could easily do just a 'textile' gallery of all shirt fabric/patterns doing a different one each day! Patterns, colors, designs.. funny text sayings. I hope someone does this challenge

And then there is the saying "I have been there and have the T-shirt" There must be millions of this type of shirt. I think that it should be fun. Something light and different that last month's challenge.

That is fab! An appropriate theme for summer, which finally seems to have arrived here in the North of England! So many cool shorts to show off *rootles in moving box for new old unworn band tees*. And I could always nip into the Boro for more colourful garments! So - this could be shirts on their own, shirts with people attached to them, any shirty stuff, yes?

PS: Stop moaning, people! Shirts is a great summer theme - not everything has to be a challenge, just HAVE FUN!!!
