I'm unsure about onastone2's challenge. I think Matylda's black and white challenge is better defined and would be my preference. Ted.

Selective coloring....orange orange~

I like the color idea. I am not sure I'm going to tackle a pad this month but colors sounds like fun. I'll see who chimes in and what happens. It's only 7pm on Sat here so I have time to think about it

i decided to go with the colours also. at least, i'm going to try and get 30 different
shades.....

I'm sure there will be different takes on it.. but what did you have in mind when you say "color selection" ? can you define or give more info please.. just curious what most people will do with it before I get started!

I'm going to be away for bits of this month, so I think I'll just take piccies instead
I tried a month of selective colour back in Sept... didn't take long for desperation to set in. lol

We will start this Sunday of the new month with purple

For this challenge I considered the different possibilities, and I think as the month progresses I'll interpret it flexibly. Selecting the colours of the spectrum with their different pastels and blends in addition gives us lots of choice. Selecting one colour and isolating it in a B&W image is another possibility. I felt somewhat tempted to follow Johnny Cash with the song he wrote about Ireland's forty shades of green but reckoned I'd turn green myself in a short while....
