I am a Validation Project Manager for a Contract Validation company. I go into pharmaceutical companies and biotechs and test their facilities and equipment to meet FDA guidelines for keeping the products you use safe. (I basically prove that the medicine you just took is identical to every other one ever made from the same machine) Think of it as a totally anal technical writing job that requires knowledge of how a bunch of different stuff works.

I am a sales manager for Staples, I never even owned a camera till about 4 years ago, now I am on my 7th. Working with that technology and seeing all the chages keeps me interested, and always buying new toys.

Mainly a professional historian, writer and media consultant, but I also run three (very) small hobby companies involved with the written word - translations (Portuguese, Spanish and French); editorial services (copyediting, proofreading, indexing, formatting); and publishing (including page setting on Quark and image setting on Photoshop).

I am a system administrator for a wholesale swimming pool equipment and supply distributor, they also have a chemical repackaging plant, I'm located in southern California, I've been working for this same company for 23 years now.
My love of photography goes way back, my dad was a pretty avid amateur and took lots of home movies, I've had several nice cameras and various equipment over the years, as far as getting an enlarger and restoring some old family photos in high school. It seems from way back I was the official family photographer, not so much I was any good but I didn't like having MY photo taken.
