I'm Franziska Lang and my pbase home is called
http://www.pbase.com/franziskalang/pad Not much imagination there, I guess. Anyhow, I had been lurking around for a while watching people's PADs in amazement before I started. My first attempt wasn't so successful, my camer broke within 2 weeks so then I was out for six weeks and started again in late January.
I've been addicted to photography ever since I got a digital camera but for a while there my motivation to go out and take pictures was waning, that was the primary reason for my to start the PAD - working my way through those "I gotta try these one day" and "This would make a good photo" lists that I have in my mind.
Since there was that heated discussion in the other thread about rules, etc, here are mine:
1. First and foremost, the photo has to be taken today. No substitutes.
2. All editing is allowed, but in reality, quite a few photos are just "autocorrected" in Paintshop Pro.
3. Stick with it for a year.
Little did I know what a wonderful community I was getting myself into. PAD's already become a huge part of my daily routine! Thank you guys!
