Newbie Question

I just bought myself my first digital camera, a Kodak DX4530. I was wondering if I could make black and white photos with this type of camera.

Easy to do.. Just pick up a copy of any decent photo editing program and it will allow you to change the pictures to monochrome (or sepia or red or whatever you want).

I would suggest for a newbie get Adobe Photoshop Elements. After you have played for a while you can do some reading on the different types of black and white tricks to do (emulating different films,etc).

The Kodak may have a built in monochrome setting but you will have a lot more control if you do it with the external program.
