http://www.pbase.com/cameraswe're building up a database of cameras so that people can view real photos taken with various equipment.
there will gradually be more and more information on the cameras themselves which should be useful or interesting to people shopping for new cameras or learning about old cameras.
the camera database will also be tied into the forums as soon as possible.

Slug: Just a note to let you know how important I think your Camera and Lens Database galleries are. Whenever I'm checking out a new lens or camera, your database gallery is my first stop to see how they do in the hands of mere mortals like myself, as opposed to the usual pro shots found on the manufacturers' websites.
The fact that the Database photos are selected at random adds to its value, since all sorts of shots, the good the bad and the ugly, are included, which allows us to see the "real deal".
Besides using it for my own research, I always mention it to others whenever I'm asked for my opinion about one camera or another. At some point I should print-up a few hundred cards to hand out to save myself some time when approached while I'm shooting, with just two websites on it: "PBase.com camera database galleries" and "DPreview.com"
That's all they need to know.
