Canon 400D plugin for photoshop cs ?

is there a canon 400D plugin for photoshop cs ? (version 8)
I still prefer to use the cs 1 version rather than cs2

Not that I know of .. But you can download the DNG converter.. Do a batch conversion on the files to DNG then load the DNGs into Photoshop.
The advantage is that the DNG files seem to be smaller on most cameras.


If you must have the Adobe RAW then elements (version 3-5) all support the latest RAW plugins.

Also the Lightroom Beta could be used.

i downloaded the latest version of elements,it doesn't support .cr2 files

You probably still need to upgrade the RAW plugin. Go to the support/download pages on Adobes site and look for RAW plugin version 3.6 (or newer). 3.6 is where they added the support for the 400D.


Be sure to read the instructions for installation (on some versions of the plugin it is not as obvious as it would seem).
