ive just dusted off my canon eos 33v, its a good performer but, theres some confusion with lenses, ive been after getting a wide angle lens for it my 28mm isnt wide enough for what i want, but getting the right lens is a real pain, they are either third gen? and dont fit your camera, or some thing,, do nikon have the same problems,, i remember years ago any old/ previous nikon lens would fit on any new nikon camera is this still the case, ,this would be my main concern right now.(fed up with being out bid on ebay for well used lenses going for new prices)rip off

The mount is still the same although not all functions will work in those cases u have to do everything in manual.

I think its a strong point for nikon.
