HELP! Canon EOS 5000 - is it worth it?

I'm new to photography but i'd love to get a film camera. I saw an advert for a Canon EOS 5000 with a Canon 38-76 lens, going for 50 euros with a couple of rolls of black an white film.
Could anyone help me out as to whether it's good or not?
If not, could anyone recommend a decent camera with a good lens for under 250 euro? (i know it's not much but i'm a student!)
Any comments appreciated.
Thanks!

It's a starter SLR for beginners, and you can slowly upgrade to higher end Canon gear. At 50 euros, how could you go wrong? In other words, what are you waiting for?

Thanks llung, i took your advice and so far i've been having fun.
I won't see the results for a while yet though seeing as its not a digital.
Anyone out there got any advice for a beginner with an SLR?
