Putting film in the refrigerator/freezer

Post Tue May 10, 2005 9:15 pm

Hi,

I have heard from another I photographer I recently met that putting film in the refrigerator will make the film last longer before expiring. If you put it in the freezer until you use them, it will last even longer.

Are these claims true?

Thanks!

Hugh

Sure are! All film should be stored in the fridge and got out a few hours before you need to use it, then put it back in the fridge until you get it processed...
